Mr Richard Doyle
Richard is the Principal of Doyle Corporate Pty Limited, a Sydney based boutique corporate law firm. Richard is a passionate and driven corporate and transactional lawyer, specialising in mergers and acquisitions and complex commercial arrangements and advice.
Richard advises both Australian and international clients on a range of corporate and commercial matters, including corporate transactions, advisory work, joint ventures, capital raisings, shareholder arrangements and disputes, corporate structuring and reorganisations, directors’ duties, brand protection and employment law issues.
Richard is an experienced negotiator and provides clients with accurate, succinct and practical solutions to challenging and technical issues. Richard also has experience and expertise in assisting clients with major legal disputes.
Richard has over 30 years legal and business experience and is well recognised with the corporate legal and hotel industries. Prior to establishing Doyle Corporate in 2006, Richard was a partner in Baker & McKenzie’s Sydney office focused on corporate and hotel transactions and was the co-founder and group general counsel of StayWell Hospitality Group, a leading international hotel management company.
Richard is the current chair of Accommodation Australia NSW Division (since 2020). Accommodation Australia is the peak industry body representing the hotel accommodation industry. Richard has previously served as a non-executive director of an ASX listed building energy management solutions company and as an executive director and corporate strategy advisor of multiple large private businesses in a broad range of industries including medical, engineering and hotel businesses.
